PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shift amount of a single shift position in an optical writing device in which an image is shifted in a sub-scanning direction to perform a skew correction and an undulation correction.SOLUTION: Correction value information, which shows that an image is shifted in a sub-scanning direction at a plurality of positions on a main-scanning line, is generated so that a position on the main-scanning line, in which the image is shifted in the sub-scanning direction to correct the undulation which is an arrangement error of a light emitting chip 502, differs from a position on the main-scanning line, in which an image is shifted in the sub-scanning direction to correct the skew of a LPH 250. |
