The light (1) has a recessed housing (2) intended to be encased into a wall (3) for receiving an LED (7), where the housing includes an opening (2c) facing the LED, and a cable inlet. Another housing (4) includes another opening (4e) and a cover part is in the form of a transparent or translucent plate (5) connected to the latter housing by a hinge (4d). The latter housing is secured to the former housing such that the openings of the housings are in communication, where an optical lens (8) is arranged at the openings of the housings.
