The present invention relates to a device and a method for displaying data in a portable terminal comprising the step of having multiple divided regions and displaying an item list in a particular service function supported by the portable terminal where an item corresponding to each divided region is formed; the step of sensing a user gesture signal input in an area where a particular item is marked at the displayed list; and the step of displaying predetermined service specific information in response to the corresponding item according to the generation of a gyro signal at a gyro sensor when the user gesture signal is sensed. |
