<p>The present invention relates a voice recognition available mobile terminal and a control method thereof. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a terminal main body; a manipulation unit mounted on the terminal main body and receiving an instruction for controlling an operation of the terminal; a microphone receiving user′s voice; and a control unit activating a voice recognition mode and performing a function corresponding to a voice inputted through the microphone when physical force applied from the external is detected on the manipulation unit while a display unit is in a disabled state. The control unit maintains the disabled state of the display unit even when the voice recognition mode is activated.</p> |
