A method for cooling a nuclear corium using liquid metal according to the present invention uses the liquid metal as a coolant to remove heat generated from a reactor core by being filled in contact with the reactor corium and finally removes the heat by transmitting the heat which is removed by the liquid metal to a circulating coolant.
