<p>The invention relates to equipment for producing hydrogen, comprising: a circuit for supplying purified water; an electrolysis cell arranged to electrolyze the water received at the inlet and separating the water into a water/O2 mixture and a water/H2 mixture at the outlet; a first chamber (6) for separating a water/O2 mixture, connected, at the inlet thereof, to said circuit for supplying purified water and to the outlet for the water/O2 mixture of said cell, and connected at the outlet thereof to a circuit for extracting O2 and to the inlet of said cell for the water; a second chamber (16) for separating a water/H2 mixture, connected at the inlet thereof to the outlet for the water/H2 mixture of said cell, and connected at the outlet thereof to circuit for extracting H2 and to an outlet of the cell for the water; a pipe (33) connecting the first and second chambers, including a solenoid valve (34) capable of controlling a transfer of water from the second chamber (16) to the first chamber (6) in order to adjust the water level between the two; and a recombination device (35) arranged between said pipe (33) and adapted to substantially remove any trace of H2 in the water from the second chamber (16) before the first chamber (6).</p> |
