The present invention relates to an image information processing device of 3D display, capable of quickly extracting depth information on a hardware 3D image, and a method thereof. The image information processing method of 3D display, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the following steps: computing the depth of an image by calculating a difference between a left image and a right image; computing the inclination of the left and right images; extracting depth direction of the image by multiplying the depth of the image and the inclination; and producing depth information on the image by combining the depth of the image and the depth direction of the image. |
