The present invention relates to an air conditioning apparatus for an electric vehicle and, more particularly, an air conditioning apparatus for an electric vehicle capable of minimizing the amount of a battery and the engine consumed for heating an indoor space and increasing fuel efficiency. The air conditioning apparatus for an electric vehicle according to the present invention includes the engine, the motor, and a battery for driving the motor. The apparatus includes a heating core for heating an indoor space by recovering the arrangement of the engine; an air conditioning unit equipped with a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, and an outdoor heat exchanger driven by the motor; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the engine, the heating core, and the air conditioning unit. |
