PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a port profile with a requested format from a port profile with a different format.SOLUTION: A use format information generation program reads out a rule to generate a master port profile PPM from a port profile PPA with a vendor A format from a rule definition unit, and generates a master port profile MPPA from the rule and contents of the port profile PPA (C). If a VM was moved to a server of a switch of a vendor B, the program generates a port profile PPB from a rule to generate the port profile PPB with a vendor B format from the master port profile MPPA from the master port profile MPPA (B). Thus, from a port profile with a different format, a port profile with a requested format can be generated.
