<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image tracking device capable of suitable display control.SOLUTION: An image tracking device includes an imaging section for imaging a field, an area selection section for selecting a first focus detection area among a plurality of focus detection areas on the basis of the user's operation, a tracking section for detecting a tracking object from within an image area by using the output from the imaging section, and tracking the tracking object, a determination section for determining whether or not the field is changing, and a display control section for controlling to display at least one of a first index corresponding to the position of a first focus detection area, and a second index corresponding to the position of the tracking object detected by the tracking section, depending on the detection results from a field change detector. The display control section displays the first index when the determination section determines that the field is not changed.</p> |
