PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mulberry leaf processed product having natural clear green color, capable of being used as drinking and eating products, capable of being easily molten to hot water and water to exhibit the natural clear green color derived from a mulberry leaf, and causing reduced odor and acrid taste unique to the mulberry leaf, and causing preferable throat feeling when it is drunk as a tea.SOLUTION: A mulberry leaf processed product is produced by steaming a raw mulberry leaf with steam of 98-100°C, then steaming it with steam of 200-300°C for performing fixation. The mulberry leaf subjected to the fixation, is dried by unbinding with hot wind without kneading. The dried mulberry leaf is pulverized. Powder of the pulverized mulberry leaf is granulated for making it a granule state. Among the granules, granules having grain diameter in a range of 4-85 μm are 90 mass% or more. |
