PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inducing or enhancing antigen-specific immune response in mammals.SOLUTION: Described is a method for treating or preventing recurrence of hyperproliferative diseases such as cancer. The method may comprise priming a mammal by administering to the mammal an effective amount of a nucleic acid composition encoding an antigen or a biologically active homolog thereof, and then boosting the mammal by administering to the mammal an effective amount of an oncolytic virus comprising a nucleic acid encoding the antigen or the biologically active homolog thereof. In certain embodiments, the nucleic acid composition is a DNA vaccine. In some embodiments, the nucleic acid composition is administered intradermally, intraperitoneally, or intravenously. |
