The invention relates to a transfer station (1) by means of which bristle filaments, which can be fed to the transfer station in bristle clusters (3), in which the bristle filaments are assembled in bundle form by means of at least one band (4), are transferred to a magazine (2), in which the bristle filaments are stored. The transfer station according to the invention is characterized in that the transfer station (1) has at least two pairs (8, 9) of gripping fingers (10, 11; 12, 13) spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the bundles, in that the gripping fingers (10, 11; 12, 13) of the gripping-finger pairs (8, 9) can be moved relative to one another, in order to grip a bristle cluster (3), such that the distance between said gripping fingers (10, 11; 12, 13) is reduced, and in that the gripping-finger pairs (8, 9) here grip the bristle cluster (3) such that at least one band (4) of the bristle cluster (3) is arranged between adjacent gripping-finger pairs (8, 9). The transfer station according to the invention makes it possible for the bristle filaments fed in bundle form to be transferred in an automated manner to the magazine, which is arranged upstream of a tufting tool of a brush-production machine (cf. figure 1). |
