PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of suppressing discoloration of an exterior case while reducing an environmental load when the white-colored exterior case is employed.SOLUTION: A projector 1 modulates light flux emitted from a light source device 21 by an optical modulation device (a liquid crystal panel 252) based on image information and projects the modulated light flux through a projection lens device 26. The projector 1 comprises an exterior case 10 configured by accommodating the light source device 21 and the liquid crystal panel 252 therein while including an exhaust air port 332 for exhausting interior warm air to the outside. At least the exhaust air port 332 of the exterior case 10 is formed of a synthetic resin A to which an ultraviolet absorber is added. The synthetic resin A is formed of a synthetic resin containing not an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) component but a PC (polycarbonate) as a main component. |
