<p>Provided is a boot band configured in such a manner that the boot band can be tightened with small force without requiring a move-over action during the tightening and in such a manner that the occurrence of buckling can be prevented. A boot band is provided with: a guide slit (41) which comprises a long hole and which is formed in an outer overlap section (34) so as to be located closer to the inner overlap section (35) side than a first tool claw (37); an outer hook claw (43) which is formed in an upstanding manner at the intermediate portion of the guide slit (41) in the longitudinal direction; and an inner hook claw (45) which is formed in an upstanding manner on the inner overlap section (35), is inserted into the guide slit (41), and slides in the guide slit (41). The outer hook claw (43) and the inner hook claw (45) are adapted so that the outer and inner hook claws (43, 45) can pass each other during a reduction in the diameter of the band body (33) and so that, when the return action of the band body (33) is performed after tightening is loosened, the outer and inner hook claws (43, 45) engage with each other and lock the reduced-diameter state of the band body (33).</p> |
