The present invention relates to a lens frame for camera module of portable terminal and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of improving bond between a rest and a lens frame and improving productivity. The present invention is a lens frame for a camera module of a portable camera, including an insert rest inserted into a rest combination hole of the lens frame. Moreover, the present invention is a method for manufacturing a lens frame for a camera module of a portable terminal, formed of a lens frame stamping process of stamping a metal material according to the shape of the lens frame, a rest insert process of inserting the stamped lens frame into a mold and then injection-molding the insert rest into the rest combination hole of the stamped lens frame, a forming process of bending the inserted lens frame, and a trim process of separating and removing the lens frame finished at the forming process from a carrier. Thus, as the insert rest is injection-molded into the stamped lens frame, the bond of the insert rest is improved and stickiness with the lens frame is improved so that collision is eased and noise is reduced. |
