PURPOSE:To improve the extent of refuse collection efficiency as well as to expand an operating range, by installing an opening, taking in water from the outboard, in the bow, while installing a duct with a built-in propeller in the stern, and installing a guide through-hole between a hold at the midship part and the duct. CONSTITUTION:In the bow, there is provided with an opening 1 which takes in water from the outboard, and at the midship, a twin-shell body 2 is connected thereto at a bottom plate 3, forming a hold 4. In the opening 1, there are pro vided with two gate doors 8 and 8 in watertight structure. These doors 8 are attached to a tip of the twin-shell body 2 with hinges, and at the refuse collec tion, they are opened as wide as more than 90 deg., functioning as a straightening vane guiding the refuse flowing in. At the time of forward movement of the ship, water from the outboard passes through the opening 1 of the bow and enters the inside of the hold 4 in which the refuse is collected in a bucket 11. Water passing through this bucket 11 is discharged outboard after passing through a duct 6 with a built-in propeller 5, from a guide through-hole 7.
