PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control air-conditioning according to resident's taste by estimating the resident among persons staying in a room.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes image pick-up means, human body detecting portion detecting persons staying in a room from the image picked up by the image pick-up means, feature amount detecting means detecting a feature amount of the persons staying in the room detected by the human body detecting portion, and determining means for determining whether the persons staying in the room having the feature amount are residents or not based on the frequency of the feature amount of the persons staying in the room detected by the feature amount detecting means. By estimating the resident from the persons staying in the room, air-conditioning according to resident's taste can be performed. |
