<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress oscillation at start of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A drive unit for a hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine 12; a motor generator 18 functioning as an electric motor or a power generator; and a power division mechanism 28 for dividing power generated in the internal combustion engine 12 into the motor generator 18 and a driving wheel 13. The power division mechanism 28 comprises: an input shaft 45 connected to a crank shaft 47 of the internal combustion engine 12; and a planetary gear mechanism in which a sun gear 52 connected to the motor generator 18. A ring gear 53 having the driving wheel 13 connected thereto and a planetary carrier 54 integrally mounted to the input shaft 45 are connected rotatably about the input shaft 45. The motor generator 18 is arranged to surround the input shaft 45 coaxially, and the sun gear 52 is connected to the motor generator 18 via a reverse gear 71 for making rotation of the sun gear 52 reverse to rotation of the motor generator 18.</p> |
