1. A liquid ejecting apparatus comprising:
an ejecting head that includes a nozzle that ejects the liquid; an external liquid receptacle holding unit that holds an liquid receptacle capable of holding the liquid; a flexible liquid channel that is configured to supply the liquid from the liquid receptacle toward the ejecting head via the external liquid receptacle holding unit; a connector that is connected to the external liquid receptacle holding unit via the flexible liquid channel; and a carriage that holds the connector, wherein the ejecting head includes a filter disposed so as to be capable of contact with a contact part provided in the connector, the contact part being formed with a material capable of forming a meniscus.
