Provided is a video decoding method, which comprises: when a first sample is one of a luma sample and a chroma sample and a second sample is the other, determining one or more values of the second sample used for correcting the value of the first sample between the first sample and the second sample which have different color components; determining a set of filter coefficients according to a band including the value of the first sample among bands determined by partitioning the total range of sample values at a predetermined interval; filtering the one or more values of the second sample determined by using the determined set of filter coefficients; and correcting the value of the first sample using a value obtained by filtering.
