A connector terminal (1) comprising a wire connection portion (2) and a male-female fitting terminal portion (4) having a contact portion (3), wherein at least the terminal portion (4) is to be accommodated in a cavity in a connector housing (21), and the connector terminal (1) can be locked into the cavity by means of a lance provided in the connector housing (21). A lance locking portion (7) for enabling the connector terminal (19) to be locked into the cavity is provided on an electrical path between the wire connection portion (2) and the contact portion (3). The lance locking portion (7) is formed as a non-penetrating recess recessed toward the inside of the connector terminal (1).
