PURPOSE:To exactly transfer control to a memory dump processing by executing a memory dump by a routine for executing a memory dump processing in a program stored in a program storing means of a read only memory. CONSTITUTION:A program storing means 103 being a read only memory stores a program having a routine for executing rise processing of an electronic computer system and a routine for executing memory dump processing. A CPU 101 executes the memory dump processing, based on the routine for executing the memory dump processing in the program stored in the program store means 103, a work use store means 104 is used as a work use memory in the memory dump processing by a CPU 101, and a memory dump instruction informing means informs an instruction for execution of the memory dump processing by a user, to the CPU 101. In such a way, when a memory dump is required, the control can be migrated exactly to the memory dump processing.
