Disclosed are a foolproof method and system for connecting a Wi-Fi camera to the Internet. The Wi-Fi camera is connected to the Internet via a wireless router. In the method, the Wi-Fi camera is connected to the wireless router via a smart terminal, and, the backend of the smart terminal is used for automatic switching, verification, and registration for the switching between the Wi-Fi camera and the wireless router, the verification of the password of the wireless router, and the registration of the Wi-Fi camera. The present invention allows a user to complete, with the simplest operation, the functions of switching, configuration, and registration of the Wi-Fi camera, thus reducing operation time. |
