PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug delivery device which prevents premature activation.SOLUTION: A drug delivery device comprises: a body (104, 116), which has a reservoir (160) disposed therein for containing a medicament and has an opening (156); an injection needle (152) to penetrate the skin of a patient, the needle (152) providing a path for the medicament between the reservoir (160) and the patient; and a needle cover (112), which has a first needle cover portion for covering the injection needle and has a second portion preventing device activation, where the first portion and the second portion can be inserted through the opening. |
