<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis device for an internal combustion engine including a variable mechanism for changing the working angle of an intake valve, capable of diagnosing that there is an abnormality of a reduction of an intake air amount even when the working angle of the intake valve is changed.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 includes a variable mechanism 17 for changing the working angle of an intake valve 11. A control part 21 diagnoses whether there is an abnormality of a reduction of an intake air amount during idle operation, or not. The control part 21 changes an abnormality determination threshold value for diagnosing the abnormality, according to the changed form of the working angle by the variable mechanism 17.</p> |
