PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clipped lawn from being caught between a guard plate that prevents a trimming blades from contacting a structure and the trimming blades, and improve visibility of the trimming blades from the guard plate.SOLUTION: A lawn clipper 10 comprises: a motor 21 provided inside a housing 11; a vertical pair of trimming blades 31 and 32 which are provided to be protruded forward under the housing 11 and make reciprocal movement relatively in horizontal directions by an operation of the motor 21 via a crank mechanism; and a guard plate 40 which is provided at a front portion of the housing 11 to be protruded forward from the trimming blades 31 and 32 and covers an upper side of the trimming blades 31 and 32. The guard plate 40 is provided at a height position of 30 mm or more above top surfaces of the trimming blades 31 and 32. |
