<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus and maintenance support apparatus for the MRI apparatus for making it possible to reduce the number of times of a maintenance worker's visits, by accurately predicting a replacement period of periodic replacement parts whose replacement period varies because of environmental difference and the like among regions where MRI apparatuses are installed.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an MRI apparatus for acquiring a nuclear magnetic resonance signal radiated from a subject comprises: an installation region storage unit for storing an installation region where the MRI apparatus is installed; a parts information storage unit for storing parts information on periodic replacement parts used by the MRI apparatus; a deterioration index storage unit for storing a deterioration index of the periodic replacement parts which varies depending on environment of the installation region; a region-based replacement period calculation unit for calculating a region-based replacement period of the periodic replacement parts in the installation region, from the parts information and the deterioration index; and a display unit for displaying a replacement period of the periodic replacement parts.</p> |
