<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation type lifting device which is more conveniently used. <P>SOLUTION: A lifting device 100 mounted on a dredge ship 10 includes: a jib end sheave 122 for relaying a support wire 102 connected to a grab bucket 14; a support winch 116 having a support drum 116a around which the support wire 102 is wound and a support motor for rotating the support drum 116a; a first power supply device 124 and a second power supply device for supplying power to the support motor when the support winch 116 lifts the grab bucket 14, while for charging power generated by the support motor to a battery when the support winch 116 lowers the grab bucket 14; and a rotation drive part 108 for rotating the support winch 116, the first power supply device 124, and the second power supply device integrally around a pivot R.
