PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riveting device that can avoid the occurrence of burrs and the remaining of chips with the riveting of rivets in a simple configuration, even if panel members are connected to constitute a barrel structural body and the barrel structural bodies are connected together.SOLUTION: A through-hole 33c for riveting a rivet 40 is formed under conditions of having two steps of: (1) forming a lower hole by a lower hole drill 114; and (2) enlarging the diameter of the lower hole by a finishing drill 114. Also, the riveting of the rivet is performed when the following three conditions are satisfied: (1) in the state where a connection part is pressed from an outer surface by the riveting of an air hammer 111; (2) the riveting of the rivet is completed in an adjacent position, viewing from the riveting position of the rivet; and (3) the connection part is pressed by a rivet holder from the inner surface. |
