<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper which is light coated paper having a basis weight of≤45 g/m<SP>2</SP>but has white paper opacity, printing opacity and stiffness equal to those of coated paper having a basis weight of about 48 g/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>SOLUTION: The coated paper composed of base paper and a coated layer containing pigments and an adhesive as main components and disposed on the base paper is characterized by including, in the base paper, three kinds of different inorganic particles including the following inorganic particles (A) to (C): (A) white carbon; (B) silica-containing inorganic particles except the white carbon; and (C) inorganic particles except the white carbon and the silica-containing inorganic particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
