PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pain study, imaging and therapeutic method, and a composition for pain study, imaging and therapy.SOLUTION: A saxitoxin analogue compound, a composition, a pharmaceutical composition, a synthesis method of a saxitoxin analog, an imaging method, and a therapeutic method including a pain therapeutic method are provided. Saxitoxin (STX), gonyautoxin (GTX) and zetekitoxin, and a variant STX compound are bound to a sodium channel and effective for reducing or blocking sodium ion flowing through such a channel. Such a channel block affects nerve and muscle actions and can be effective for reducing and blocking pain sensation, for relaxing the muscle, for reducing muscle spasm, and for reducing wrinkles. |
