The present invention relates to a device for contracting and extending a roller blind web comprising a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge which is shorter than the first longitudinal edge. The device comprises a cassette and an end strip (14). The cassette is designed to receive a roller blind web and has a shaft. The first longitudinal edge is arranged on the shaft. The roller blind web is wound on or unwound from the shaft. The second longitudinal edge is arranged on a housing (20) of the end strip (14). A first gear wheel (30) with a first diameter (D1) and a second gear wheel (32) with a second diameter (D2) are arranged in the housing (20) of the end strip (14). The two gear wheels (30, 32) rotate on a common shaft. A first telescopic arm (22) and a second telescopic arm (24) are arranged on the housing (20). Each telescopic arm (22, 24) is arranged inside the housing (20) and has a section with a rack (26, 28). The rack (26) of the first telescopic arm (22) can be rolled along the first gear wheel (30). The rack (28) of the second telescopic arm (24) can be rolled along the second gear wheel (32). As a result, the second telescopic arm (24) moves on the housing (20) in an opposite second direction as far as a second gap (S2) while the first telescopic arm (22) moves on the housing (20) in a first direction as far as a first gap (S1). |
