PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ceiling backing material and a ceiling board from falling by colliding with a sidewall of a building structure, when a suspended ceiling swings vertically or swings horizontally by an earthquake.SOLUTION: A cornice structure of a suspended ceiling comprises a pair of left-right parting materials for respectively covering respective side end parts of the ceiling backing material and the ceiling board opposed to the sidewall by tiltably erecting in the longitudinal direction by respectively fixing its lower end part to one side end part and the other side end part of the ceiling board and a pair of left-right blindfold members tiltably arranged in the vertical direction by fixing its base end part to the sidewall, respectively horizontally supported by engagement with the respective upper ends of the parting materials and extending along the sidewall by covering a space between the sidewall and respective side end parts of the ceiling board, wherein respective terminal parts of the parting materials positioned in a corner part of the ceiling board corresponding to a reentrant part of the sidewall are separably joined, and respective terminals of the blindfold member positioned in the corner part are joined mutually separably in the vertical direction. |
