SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing edges of welded parts; strapping end wall of ball mill, lifting and moving end wall in order to place it coaxially relative to drum of ball mill; holding end wall in suspended state by means of adjusting device and simultaneously setting gap between edges of welded parts; closing welding circuit by supply addition metal into gap and passing high frequency electric current; heating up edges until temperature not exceeding that of conversion of pearlite to austenite; holding end wall of ball mill onto thermic compensator; realizing heat treatment of welded joint at soaking it at least for 70-80 min while heating joint up to 763 C and then interim cooling it until working temperature 450 C of drum for 90-100 min. EFFECT: possibility for preventing cracking of near-surface layers of parts, enhanced quality of joints at making heavy products. 1 ex
