<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly feed a document and also suppress the generation of a difference between an image read by placing the document and an image read by automatically feeding the document. <P>SOLUTION: A transparent sheet 35, that is roughened and regulates the movement direction of a document, is arranged in an automatic document feeder (ADF) reading area 34 concerning a scanner unit 40. In-placement shading correction processing is performed through the use of black reference data K and white reference data W with respect to reading data obtained by reading a document placed on a flat bed part 31. Meanwhile, in-feeding shading correction processing is performed with respect to reading data, which is obtained by reading a document automatically fed by an ADF unit 61, through the use of black reference data K', which is obtained by moving the black reference data K to the side of the white reference data and is different from the black reference data K, and the white reference data W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
