PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus capable of stabilizing frequency and voltage of a power supply system independently of an operation state of the power conversion apparatus.SOLUTION: The power conversion apparatus includes: a system side conversion device 101 connected to a power supply system 2, a rotary machine side conversion device 102 connected to a motor generator 3 and a power storage device 103 connected between both the devices. The system side conversion device 101 includes a system side power converter 11 and a system side controller 12 for allowing the system side power converter 11 to perform DC/AC conversion operation and AC/DC conversion operation on the basis of the same control rule by operating the system side power converter 11 as a virtual synchronous generator for the power supply system 2. The rotary machine side conversion device 102 includes a rotary machine side power converter 16 and a rotary machine side controller 17 for allowing the rotary machine side power converter 16 to perform DC/AC conversion operation and AC/DC conversion operation on the basis of the same control rule so that a measurement voltage of the power storage device 103 becomes a predetermined voltage. |
