PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit abnormal noise occurring in a speed reduction mechanism from being emitted from a wheel to the exterior.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor unit 1 includes: a motor 20; and a speed reduction mechanism 30. The speed reduction mechanism 30 is composed of a counter gear mechanism 31 and a planetary gear mechanism 40 and abnormal noise occurs in the counter gear mechanism 31. A brake dust cover 130 is provided at the outer side relative to the counter gear mechanism 31 when viewed in a vehicle width direction. A sound absorption material 140 is bonded to an inner surface of the brake dust cover 130 when viewed in the vehicle width direction. The abnormal noise occurring in the counter gear mechanism 31 is absorbed by the sound absorption material 140. |
