PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transdermal therapeutic system comprising at least one kind of a pharmaceutical agent and pressure sensitive adhesive.SOLUTION: There is provided a transdermal therapeutic system, wherein a pharmaceutical agent is nicotine, a pressure sensitive adhesive contains polyacrylate polymer, the polyacrylate polymer has a polyacrylate backbone comprising a monomeric unit selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and ester of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, the monomeric unit is comprised by at least 50% (w/w) relative to an average polymer mass of the polyacrylate polymer, the entire volume of a monomer selected from non-esterification acrylic acid and non-esterification methacrylic acid is 0.5-10% (w/w) relative to the average polymer mass of the polyacrylate polymer, and carboxyl groups of the non-esterification acrylic acid monomer and the non-esterification methacrylate monomer exist at 5-100% stoichiometrically in the form of alkali salt. |
