<p>PURPOSE:To prevent over-exposure in short-distance photography by deciding on whether a subject is at short distance or not by the ratio of reflected light to projected light, and determining whether the stop level of strobe lighting should be corrected or not. CONSTITUTION:The projected light from a lamp 36 and its reflected light are applied with photometry 38 and 18 and A/D-converted 32 and 26 and the ratio of the reflected light to the projected light is calculated 28. When this ratio is larger than a specific level, a decision on short distance is made and the stop level of strobe lighting is corrected. When a shutter release switch 22 is closed in said state, a mirror 37 is hopped up and a strobe 35 flashes, and when the integrated value obtained by the light metering 18 and integration 20 of strobe reflected light attains to said lighting stop level, the lighting is stopped 34. Consequently, the delay from signal generation to an actual lighting stop in short-distance photography is compensated.</p> |
