The present invention relates to a drum type washing machine. Specifically, according to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a drum type washing machine which comprises a main tub including a main drum in which washing of laundry by rotation inside; a sub tub formed independently from the main tub, and including a subdrum in which washing of laundry is performed inside; and a clutch unit including a driving motor, and providing a rotational force of the driving motor to one or more among the main drum and the subdrum.
