<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, wherein the operativity in an exchange of a developing cartridge is improved. <P>SOLUTION: In a state that a drawer member 51 is placed in an outside position, the developing cartridge 50 is moved into the drawer member 51 so that the developing cartridge 50 may be supported by the drawer member 51. In this case, a force receiving portion 52a is contacted to inclined surfaces 51b and 51c, and the force receiving portion 52a contacted to the inclined surfaces 51b and 51c receives the force from the inclined surfaces 51b and 51c in interrelation with movement of the developing cartridge 50 into the drawer member 51, thus moving a developing roller shutter 52 from a protecting position to a retracted position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
