<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device that prevents a vehicle from passing over a pair of car stops, with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The parking support device includes: a car stop detecting means 1 that detects, during the backward movement of a vehicle, the center position in the vehicle width direction of a pair of car stops on the road surface behind the vehicle; and a support means 2 that assists parking by means of at least one of notification to a driver and vehicle control so as to align the center position of the pair of car stops with the center position of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
