<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile hand-operated floor surface cleaner capable of recovering a cleaning treatment object including metallic abrasives, metallic cutting scraps, and other powder and granular materials of high specific gravity. <P>SOLUTION: The hand-operated floor surface cleaner includes a coupled shaft transmission switching mechanism for maintaining driving of one-way rotation of a main brush 2 by moving responsive to change of forward/reverse rotation of a running wheel 11 to switch and connect a transmission element, and a joint nozzle 6 allowing the base end to be opened and connected to a dust container 7 and allowing the other end to be connected to an external suction device including a dust collector. Hereat, the coupled shaft transmission switching mechanism includes both of a transmission element composed of a one-way clutch and a gear, and a transmission element composed of a sprocket and a chain, and is operated responsive to change of forward/reverse rotation of the running wheel to switch driving connection. Further, the hand-operated floor surface cleaner can run forward or backward while maintaining one-way rotation of the main brush 2 and has a forced suction function which is augmented by connection with the external suction device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
