<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil liquefaction prevention structure capable of appropriately applying liquefaction countermeasures to soil under an existing structure such as a building or a house and also facilitating management of constituent facilities.SOLUTION: The soil liquefaction prevention structure includes: a water cutoff wall 13 surrounding a liquefaction layer 11 under an existing structure 10; catchment pipes 14 and 14 buried in an upper layer part 11a of the liquefaction layer within the water cutoff wall 13; a pump 15 installed on the ground for pumping up ground water in the upper layer part 11a of the liquefaction layer through the catchment pipes 14; and a plurality of drain materials 16, 16, ... which are buried from a surface of the ground around the existing structure towards a bottom of the liquefaction layer under the existing structure. A ground water level 17 is reduced lower than the upper layer part 11a of the liquefaction layer by pumping up the ground water, excessive clearance water in a lower layer part 11b of the liquefaction layer flows into the drain materials 16, 16, ... and clearance water pressure in the lower layer part 11b of the liquefaction layer is prevented from increasing.</p> |
