PURPOSE:To relax shock at return by controlling an automatic transmission controller through a fuel supply controller so that a shift position higher than a present level by one stage is temporarily selected when a fuel cut return condition is established. CONSTITUTION:A fuel supply controller A cuts fuel supply when a predetermined F/C(Fuel/Cut) condition is established and starts fuel supply again when a predetermined F/C return condition is established. An automatic transmission controller B automatically determines a transmission stage from a relation between car speed and a throttle opening degree. In the above constitution, when the F/C return condition is established, an F/C return signal is sent from the fuel supply controller A to the automatic transmission controller B. When the automatic transmission controller B receives the F/C return signal, the automatic transmission controller B is controlled so that a shift position higher than a present shift position by one state is temporarily selected. |
