<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device and a method of manufacturing a bending member, by which the miniaturization of the installation space of the whole apparatus, the suppression of the cost of equipment and the suppression of operating speed are attained and, thus, the bending member excellent in the accuracy of dimension is manufactured at high productivity and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The bending apparatus 20 has: (i) a clamp 22 for fixing one-end side of a steel pipe 25; (ii) a heating/cooling unit 23 for heating the steel pipe 25 and cooling the heated portion and (iii) a first manipulator 24 which has at least six flexibility and with which bending moment is given to the high temperature part of the steel pipe 25 by giving the load of translational three flexibility and rotational three flexibility while holding the other end of the steel pipe 25 and (iv) a second manipulator 29 with which the heating/cooling unit 23 is held and with which the position of the heating/cooling unit 23 is changed from the other-end side of the steel pipe 25 to the position approaching one-end side when the first manipulator 24 gives bending moment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
