PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a high-contrast plastic polarized lens which has an improved contrast property realizing excellent visibility and reduced visual fatigue, suppresses color difference caused by difference in the thickness of the lens, and has improved appearance; a method for producing the same; and a polarized lens.SOLUTION: In a plastic polarized lens, layers comprising a thiourethane-based resin (resin layers) are stacked over both surfaces of a polarized film comprising a thermoplastic polyester. The polarized film contains an organic coloring compound represented by the general formula in the figure.
