<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door lock device capable of preventing a door from being opened by an impact despite an intention of a driver while achieving a reduction in a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A switch 87, an electric motor 81, pieces of electric wiring 91 to 96 and switching means 50 are arranged inside a storage chamber 71A. The switch 87 detects door open information when a handle 8 is displaced from a closed position to an open position. The pieces of electric wiring 91 to 96 electrically connect the switch 87 and the electric motor 81. The switching means 50 switches a door 9 to an unlatched state by controlling a lock device main body 70 through being driven by the electric motor 81 which is operated by the door open information. An inertia member 200 is also arranged inside the storage chamber 71A. The inertia member 200 is displaced from a normal position to an extreme position when inertial force F1 exceeding a predetermined value acts thereon so as to prevent the switch 87 from detecting the door open information even the handle 8 is displaced from the closed position to the open position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
