PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a protective film for an ophthalmic lens, which dispenses with cleaning validation of the ophthalmic lens while properly protecting a lens surface during lens machining.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a protective film for an ophthalmic lens includes the steps of: forming the protective film of an optical part of the ophthalmic lens from a hydrophilic polymeric material; applying lens machining to the optical part formed with the protective film; and separating the protective film from a surface of the optical part after the lens machining. |
